To help improve community healthcare, the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation recently collaborated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Phu Commune and the Youth Union of Chau Phu Commune, An Giang Province, to organize a program providing free medical check-ups and medicine to 294 local residents.
In addition, 130 people received eye examinations, and 79 of them were provided with prescription eyeglasses, helping improve their vision and support their daily activities.
This initiative is part of the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation’s ongoing community welfare programs, which are implemented in various localities, particularly in remote and underserved areas, to expand access to essential healthcare services.
Beyond providing healthcare support, the program also promoted the spirit of compassion and community solidarity while raising awareness of the importance of regular health check-ups and preventive healthcare. Going forward, the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation will continue to work closely with local authorities to organize more community healthcare initiatives, contributing to improved health and a better quality of life for local residents.
