The 15th “Phu My Hung For Children” Festival took place over the weekend (May 30–31, 2026), attracting thousands of participants and creating a lively atmosphere for children and families.
Marking its 15th year, the festival was jointly organized by Phu My Hung Corporation, Konnit Group, and the People’s Committee of Tan Hung Ward. It also served as the opening event for the locality’s Launch Ceremony of the Action Month for Children, Summer Opening 2026, and celebrations of International Children’s Day 2026.
Ms. Nguyễn Thị Kim Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the People’s Committee, and Head of the Summer Activities Steering Committee of Tan Hung Ward, highly appreciated the efforts of Phu My Hung Corporation and the sponsoring organizations in joining hands with the local authorities to promote children’s well-being and development.
According to the Organizers, this year’s event focused on incorporating life skills education into recreational activities, allowing children to learn through play in a natural and engaging way.
The festival featured three experiential zones with more than 30 games and activities across various themes.
The sports zone buzzed with activities such as balance biking, obstacle courses, ring toss, and basketball.
The science and creativity zone drew enthusiastic young participants eager to explore and experiment.
While the folk games zone revived traditional favorites such as ô ăn quan (mandarin square capturing), bamboo dancing, and blindfolded pot smashing.
More than 15,000 gifts donated by sponsors were distributed to children participating in the festival.
During the Opening Ceremony, the People’s Committee of Tan Hung Ward also awarded 62 scholarships to local students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
