A giant 6-meter Doraemon model has made its first appearance at Crescent Lake in Phu My Hung, attracting large crowds of Ho Chi Minh City residents eager to visit and “check in.”
From the very first days, the event area has been bustling with visitors, especially children and fans of Japan’s famous robotic cat. Many families have taken the opportunity to capture memorable moments beside the giant inflatable Doraemon model and themed mini-scenes inspired by the newly released Doraemon movie.
The venue features a variety of vibrant outdoor photo spots decorated in Doraemon’s signature blue, creating a cheerful and lively atmosphere during the early summer days. Not only children, but also many young people have come to “check in”, film videos, and share photos on social media.
According to observations, the number of visitors to Crescent Lake increases significantly during the late afternoon and evening. Many children were especially excited to see the giant 6-meter Doraemon model in person for the first time.
The event runs from May 16 to June 3, 2026, at Crescent Lake and the outdoor plaza of West Plaza, Crescent Mall, and is open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. It is considered one of the standout attractions and most popular “check-in” destinations for Ho Chi Minh City residents this summer.
