As the weather gradually transitions from spring to summer, pink lotus flowers in the Phu My Hung City Center begin to bloom.
Lotus plants are widely cultivated in the lakes of two major parks in Phu My Hung: Crescent Lake Park and Nam Vien Park. While the lotus in Crescent Lake Park is the traditional pink variety, the lotus in Nam Vien Park is the Quan Âm variety, known for its many petals and round buds.
“Who would have thought that right in the middle of the city there could be such vibrant lotus ponds? Today, by chance, I passed through Phu My Hung and saw the lotus in bloom. I’ll definitely wear my Áo dài this weekend to take photos”, shared Ms. Thuy Quynh from Nha Be County, Ho Chi Minh City.
“My house is nearby, and I exercise every morning at Crescent Lake Park, so I’ve known about these lotus ponds for a long time. The lotus blooms every few months, but it is most abundant and beautiful in summer. Walking and breathing in the fresh air, infused with the fragrance of lotus flowers, is truly relaxing”, said Mr. Hoang, a resident of Phu My Hung.
These lotus ponds not only enhance the landscape but also serve as valuable green spaces, helping to purify the air and improve the overall environment of the Phu My Hung City Center.
Let’s admire the pink lotus blossoms blooming in the heart of the city!
