On the morning of December 13, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients held the Scholarship Award Ceremony for Disadvantaged and Studious Studentsfor the 2025 – 2026 academic year. At the ceremony, 395 scholarships, with a total value of VND 500 million, were awarded to disadvantaged and high-achieving students with disabilities from Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Ca Mau, Vinh Long, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Quang Ngai. The scholarships were sponsored by Phu My Hung Corporation through the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation.
The scholarships aim to support orphans, students with disabilities, and other disadvantaged students who demonstrate strong determination and good academic performance.
Since 2002, Phu My Hung Corporation, through the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation, has accompanied and supported the Association’s scholarship program, with total contributions exceeding VND 9.6 billion.
At the ceremony, the Ho Chi Minh City Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients expressed its sincere gratitude to Phu My Hung Corporation and the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation for their long-term partnership in helping nurture the dreams of thousands of disadvantaged students across the country.
